In September 2022, Manutex joined the Groupe Gauthier, a group of human-sized companies located in the Ambert basin and working in synergy around textile braiding, wood and plastics. With Manutex and Audeo, the Group now comprises 6 companies and offers a range of complementary services to its customers.
Since 1872, Gauthier Fils has been perpetuating the tradition of braiding cords, braids and laces in Vertolaye (63). ISO 9001 certified and EPV label (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant), the company serves major luxury and ready-to-wear brands.
Founded in 1910, Promotress (Procédé Moderne de Tressage) is located in the industrial zone of Ambert (63). The company’s know-how is recognized in the manufacture of braids, cords and elastics for technical applications in industry, healthcare, packaging… It is ISO 9001 certified.
Atiplast is a plastics processing company founded over 10 years ago. Its know-how is recognized in overmolding on braids and cords. It also manufactures technical plastic injection parts for industry (automotive, furniture, healthcare). The ISO 9001 certified company is based in Ambert (63), in the same building as Promotress.
Founded in Vertolaye (63) in the 19th century, Tourlonias 1895 specializes in custom wood packaging for professionals. The company also manufactures a wide range of wooden objects for the home, which are sold through its online shop.
Based in Monastir, Tunisia, since 2005, Audéo specializes in the production of ribbons, braids, webbings, cords, cables and knitwear for the garment, decoration and industrial sectors. The company offers a wide range of finishes (priming, cutting, tipping, silk-screening, etc.) and is certified Oeko-Tex standard 100 and ISO 9001.
